Social Activities

Dear New Resident,

Welcome to our beautiful park. We hope you will take advantage of the park and the safe and lovely environment it offers. We want to let you know about some of our social activities. These activities will be announced in our quarterly newsletter “The Holler,” and via e-mail. At times we may distribute flyers to your mailbox, time permitting.

Once a month the Ladies Bunco group gets together for a game at a resident’s home in Holiday Park. Please contact Leanne Andrews at 214-437-7668 for more details.

During the summer, we try to have a potluck picnic at the Pavilion. HPHA provides hot-dogs and drinks and members bring their favorite dish to share with everyone.

Twice a year, in the spring and fall, we have a Park Fix-Up Day. We provide a continental breakfast at our pavilion to volunteers. This is a good opportunity to get to know your neighbors.

There are many opportunities to volunteer in HPHA, most requiring only a few hours of your time and we encourage you to do so. It is a good chance to meet your neighbors and make Holiday Park a nicer neighborhood.

Holiday Park Homeowners Association is governed by a Board of Directors, composed of the eight Circle Representatives. The Board meets the first Thursday of every month. The Board meetings are open to all residents. Our annual general meeting is in December. At this meeting HPHA’s budget and Circle Rep is approved for the upcoming year by all residents. Circle Reps are nominated by their Circle.

We also hold a summer party at HPHA’s swimming pool; the whole park is invited to attend.

We hope you feel welcome and at home in your new neighborhood!

Please do not hesitate to contact your Circle Representative if you have any questions or concerns. You can also refer to hpha.org website for information.
