The next Holiday Park Board meeting will be Tuesday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Teresa and Romek Bobkowski’s, 15755 Terrace Lawn.
Please stay current with your Holiday Park homeowner dues. During the summer months especially, your dues are needed to maintain the park and pool.
Please use a leash when walking your dog, and please clean up after your dog. Recently, unleashed dogs have strayed into the yards and back porches of homeowners living along the park. Additionally, an unleashed dog in the park discourages others from using the park whether to play or perhaps walk their own dog. The park common area is shared space which everyone - and their pets - can enjoy provided we are considerate of one another.
Condolences to Shirley Alexander on the passing of Sammy, her long-time companion.
Please help the Pool Attendants do their job, thereby making the pool a safer, more pleasant place to swim. The Pool Attendants are the authority at the pool. Please respect their requests. If it is something you don’t agree with, please comply nonetheless and then bring the issue to one of the Pool Chairpersons: Sue Bach, Nori Kazdoy, Donna Bushardt, or Lauren Barbeau.
Thanks to Melissa Santucci the lending library at the pavilion will be open during the winter months. Tentatively it will be open 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Check out is on the honor system and donations – especially children’s books - are welcome. We have many new Books, come and browse. |

To Alan and Zorah Raoufpour, of Mapleview, for watering the park grassy knolls and the attractive sprinkler sculpture they are using for the watering.
The Bennett’s of Covewood for donating a drill, and vacuum cleaner, and many shelves and bookcases to the park. Also, Tony and Chris for setting up the new shelves in the kitchen.
To Carol Drake, HPHA’s Crime Watch person from Kingscrest, who has obtained drug awareness booklets which are available free for the taking in our lending library.
Cathy Sells, of Kingscrest, for being a good neighbor and looking after and watering her neighbor’s yard.
Thanks to the many neighbors who generously contributed their time and possessions to the Covewood garage sale. Over $2000 was raised to help a neighbor. |

Homeowner Dues: please remember Holiday Park’s homeowner dues should be paid on the 1st day of each month, $45.00. If paid three or more months in advance, you are eligible to take a 10% discount ($45 x 3 = $135 less $13.50 = $121.50), provided you are current with your dues at the time of payment and the payment is made within the first week of the three months. Please note that a property lien will be filed if a member is more eight months behind in their homeowner dues and has not attempted to work out a payment plan to get caught up. |
Recently there was a purse snatching at Albertsons. A woman - with a baby - asked for change, and then as the person was attempting to give her some money, she snatched the person’s purse and ran away.
The Ellis’ (on Havenrock Circle) flamingo yard decorations were recently stolen. If you happen to see/know anything please call Deanie Ellis (972-239-0681). The flamingos were a nice touch to La Bolsa. Anyone wishing to donate money to help Deanie replace them please contact Matt Bach.
