·        Dave Santucci takes over as Acting HPHA President:

In order for Matt Bach to concentrate on his run for Dallas City Council (for more info, see his website, www.mattbach.org), Dave Santucci (Kingscrest) has taken over duties of HPHA President. Please direct inquiries and concerns to Dave at; dmlcsantucci@yahoo.com or 972-386-9414.

THANKS MATT for so many years of incredible HPHA management and care. We have been so fortunate to have your time and talents. Good Luck!

·        Pool Renovation Project:

Work began in December and we are making great progress! New decking, pavestones, new overhang with fans, and pool house siding are all complete. We are on track to finish in March, weather cooperating! Check it out!

SAFETY NOTE: No one is allowed to enter the Pool area anytime during this construction period. At the end of the project, the old fence will be down for a short time, before a new one is erected.

PLEASE, if you haven't yet fully paid your 2004 Pool special assessment ($600), do so as soon as possible. HPHA needs everyone to pay their share so we can pay contractors for completed work.

Many Thanks to the Pool Committee members for all the hard work! Matt & Sue Bach, David Levitan, Brad Buckman, Mario Del Puerto, Dave Santucci.

·        Tennis Court Renovation Project/Assessment:

Please remember that in 2005 we are collecting $350 (min $35 monthly) from each homeowner for the renovation of the tennis court. Thanks to those who have already paid the total assessment. This is the second and last special assessment of HPHA’s current five-year plan. Please remember to write a separate check when making special assessment payments.

·        Treasurer’s Report:

The role of HPHA Treasurer is streamlining considerably due to Management Company, however we still need this role on the Board. If you are interested in volunteering for this position, please contact Dave Santucci at 972-386-9414.

PARK UPDATES:

Remember to check HPHA website for updated info; www.hpha.org. Board Meeting Times and Notes are posted.

·        Dog Biting Incident: Recently, an incident was reported to the Board where one dog was badly bitten by another dog. As a result, the Board has approved a written procedure for handling leash issues in the Park. All reported incidents will be documented and tracked in Board meeting notes and a series of steps will be taken. In addition, another Leash Reminder flyer was distributed to all homeowners.
